Sorry. This is a suck posting, but it was so sad. Did she choose to be alone? Did she loose support when she came out? Why was she alone? Where was her non existent family?

For as long as I live, this will not be my child!!!

It's a sad story, but it sounded like she didn't want her family in her life. As far as a friend, or partner, I can't say. I would have thought she would have had at least one friend. It just shows me that we need a supportive person in our life somewhere. Even if it's just online.
